Saturday 19th December, Boddington Manor - ‘Christmastide’

Tewkesbury Chamber Choir were delighted to return once again to the beautiful Boddington Manor to spread some Christmas cheer and raise money for the churches of Boddington and Staverton.

















Friday 22nd May, Welland Church‘Marvellous May Music’

A concert to raise money for Macmillan. Many of the choir have recently been affected by cancer, either personally or someone close to them, and so we wanted to do the little we could to help such a fantastic cause. Thank you to soprano Alison Martin for organizing the event.
















Saturday 16th May, Apperley Church – ‘A Cracking Choral Concert’

An evening of music to raise money for the Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal at Bristol Hospital in memory of Alex Ross, who lived in Apperley and sadly passed away in 2006. The concert was a great success and raised £355. A big thank you to Sue and Pete Ross for their support of this event.

Saturday 20th December, Welland Church – ‘Christmastide – A Celebration of Christmas Carols and Songs’ 

Surrounded by beautifully decorated Christmas trees, the choir sang a range of popular and lesser-known Christmas carols and songs.

Saturday 1st November, Boddington Manor - ‘We Will Remember Them’

A Remembrance Concert to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War. The audience heard a wide range of music, such as ‘Daffodils’ by Mansell Thomas, ‘Flower of the Eternal Sleep’ by Bob May, and Butterworth’s ‘A Shropshire Lad’. They also listened to hit songs written during the wars, including ‘We’ll gather lilacs’, ‘There’s a long trail a-winding’ and ‘It’s a long way to Tipperary’. The concert raised £215 for The Royal British Legion.

Saturday 25th October, Tewkesbury Abbey – ‘Images of Tewkesbury’

TCC joined other local choirs for this concert in celebration of 40 years of Tewkesbury Town Band. It was a privilege to be part of this event, and to sing a specially commissioned piece – ‘Images of Tewkesbury’ by Peter Meechan.

Friday 6th June, Welland Church – ‘Supper and Song for Summer’

The choir treated the audience to a range wide of music, from Mozart to McCartney with a little Rutter sprinkled in for good measure, while Keith Gotobed and his fantastic catering team treated everyone to a delicious supper. Many thanks to Keith and his team and Welland Church for welcoming us, and a huge thank you to Alison Martin for organising the concert.

Sunday 29th June, Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury – ‘We Salute You’

An evening of local music to raise money for the Royal British Legion. TCC were thrilled to be invited to sing in this fantastic event in the Roses Theatre, along with The Manor Players and the Innsworth Military Wives Choir, to sing songs associated with World War I and II.
